Founded and operated by Princeton alumni, the Ivy Network has hosted a variety of social and professional networking events for single Ivy League alumni residing in the greater Los Angeles area for almost eight years.  In the fall of 2005, PCSC joined forces with the Ivy Network by adopting it as a PCSC committee.  As a prerequisite to the adoption, the Ivy Network specified that funds raised from its events and activities be used to further alumni community service or charitable projects that addressed the educational, social and cultural enhancement of school-aged children or youth and that the Ivy Network Committee be able to the determine the best use of those funds.  PCSC agreed and to date, funds raised from Ivy Network activities have made a significant financial impact on PCSC's community service and outreach projects.

In addition to its regular events through the year, the Ivy Network holds an annual all Ivy Holiday charity benefit and clothing drive.  Its December 2005 Holiday Mixer drew over 160 guests and raised over $3100 for Covenant House and for PCSC's own Beautiful Minds Project.   The funds donated by the Ivy Network to the Beautiful Minds Project from that one event covered the entire cost of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library & Air Force One Pavilion field trip for fifty (50) fifth grade students and two teachers from Ralph J. Bunche Elementary, a school from the Compton unified school district.
